Job summary

SSC Services for Education is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time groundskeeper positions in Stephenville, TX. The role requires one year of groundskeeping experience and offers a pay range of $15.00 to $18.00 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package and same-day pay options.

Location: TAMU Tarleton Gr - 503 North Neblett Avenue, Stephenville, TX 76401. Schedules: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (full-time) or 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM and 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM (part-time).

Qualifications

• One year of groundskeeping experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Plans and administers grounds and plant maintenance, including growing schedules and propagation.
• Trims, prunes and removes scrubs, bushes and trees.
• Performs general janitorial duties including property inspections, landscaping and grounds maintenance.
• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Inspects common areas and reports deficiencies to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Mows lawns weekly during the proper season and cleans landscaping tools after use.
• Trims bushes to maintain neat appearance and shape.
• Weeds flowerbeds weekly or more often if needed.
• Shovels exterior walkways in winter and salts or sands icy walkways as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
