SSC Groundskeeper Positions

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time GROUNDSKEEPER positions at Charleston County School District, located at 7297 Peppermill Parkway, North Charleston, SC 29418. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time, Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Additional details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: Prior experience operating small engine equipment and zero-turn mowers required. Willing to train!

Job Summary

Plans and administers grounds and plant maintenance, including growing schedules, propagation, trimming, pruning, and general landscaping and janitorial duties.

Essential Duties

• Provides quality customer service and attention to detail.
• Inspects and reports deficiencies in common areas and grounds.
• Mows lawns, trims bushes, weeds flowerbeds, and maintains property appearance.
• Shovels walkways and salts or sands icy surfaces in winter.
• Contributes to team efforts, maintains professionalism, and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license required.
