• We are hiring immediately for a full time GROUNDSKEEPER position.
• Location: Crawfordsville Community Schools - 1000 Fairview Avenue, Crawfordsville, IN 47933. (Openings at other locations within the school district are available) Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm; additional details provided upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous groundskeeping experience is required.
• Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Plans and administers grounds and plant maintenance, including growing schedules and propagation through plants and cuttings. Responsible for caring for grasses and plants, trimming, pruning, removing shrubs, bushes, and trees. Performs general janitorial duties, property inspections, landscaping, and grounds maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Inspects common areas and reports deficiencies.
• Inspects exterior grounds and reports deficiencies.
• Mows lawns weekly during the appropriate season; cleans tools and equipment after use.
• Trims bushes to maintain appearance and shape.
• Weeds flowerbeds regularly.
• Shovels walkways during winter and applies salt or sand as needed.
• Contributes to team efforts, maintains professionalism in interactions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license required.
