We are hiring immediately for full-time GROUNDSKEEPER positions at Greencastle Community Schools, located at 1002 Mill Pond Lane, Greencastle, IN 46135. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday, hours may vary. More details upon interview.

Requirement: No prior experience required.

Pay Range: $16.50 to $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Plans and administers grounds and plant maintenance, including growing schedules and propagation through plants and cuttings. Responsible for tasks related to grasses and plants, trimming, pruning, removing scrubs, bushes, and trees, along with general janitorial duties, property inspections, landscaping, and grounds maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Inspects common areas and exterior grounds; reports deficiencies.
• Mows lawns weekly during appropriate seasons; cleans tools and equipment.
• Trims bushes; weeds flowerbeds regularly.
• Shovels walkways and salts or sands icy areas in winter.
• Contributes to team efforts and maintains professionalism.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
