Job Description: Groundskeeper

We are hiring immediately for a full-time GROUNDSKEEPER position at SSC. This role involves maintaining the grounds and plant care, including trimming, pruning, weeding, and general landscaping tasks.

Location: TAMU CT - 1001 Leadership Place, Killeen, TX 76549. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday. Hours may vary; more details provided upon interview.

Requirements: Two years of groundskeeping experience required.

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Plans and administers grounds and plant maintenance, including schedules and propagation. Responsible for caring for grasses and plants, trimming, pruning, and general grounds maintenance tasks such as inspections, landscaping, and janitorial duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Providing quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Inspecting common areas and grounds, reporting deficiencies.
• Mowing lawns, trimming bushes, weeding flowerbeds.
• Shoveling walkways and salting icy areas in winter.
• Contributing to team efforts and maintaining professionalism.
• Performing other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Valid Non-CDL Class C driver’s license required.
