Job summary

American Campus Communities is seeking a Groundskeeper for East Campus Graduate Apartments in Austin, TX. You will maintain interior and exterior areas, support common spaces, and contribute to curb appeal across the property. Training is provided to support success in the role.

Ideal candidates will be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow multi-step instructions. Responsibilities include turnover support, pool maintenance if applicable, and safe operation of facility equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive a golf cart and lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• General labor, housekeeping, and cleaning task knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals and MSDS instructions.
• Ability to follow multi-step written or verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean interior and exterior areas to property standards.
• Perform groundskeeping tasks including trash collection and maintenance of common areas.
• Vacuum, mop, shampoo floors in resident rooms and common areas; stock bathrooms.
• Assist service team with work orders, moving furniture, and storing supplies.
