Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is hiring a Groundskeeper for Avista Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC. This role involves maintaining public property areas, ensuring cleanliness and safety, and performing various landscaping tasks. Availability for a flexible schedule, including weekends, is required.

The ideal candidate will handle equipment, communicate effectively with guests, and can expect benefits such as weekly pay and medical insurance. Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory.

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Previous experience is preferred but not required.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Empties all trash chutes, trash cans, and parking lot as needed.
• Sweeps and power washes as needed.
• Mowing, weed eating, trimming, laying sod, planting & watering flowers, fertilizer, and other landscaping duties.
• Operates the trash compactor.
• Maintain and keep inventory on all equipment.
• Keep work spaces clean and hazard free.
• Perform other light maintenance work orders as assigned such as changing light bulbs, painting, assisting in moving furniture, etc.
• Immediately report any building issues seen while performing daily tasks.
• Effective and professional communication with guests and other team members.

Groundskeeper - Avista Resort

Job Description: The grounds maintenance personnel will keep public property areas clean, safe, and organized, using equipment such as hand tools and power tools. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, sprinkler installation, collecting trash, sweeping, and wiping down outdoor items.

Shift: Days & Afternoons Part-Time & Full-Time
