Job summary

Myrtle Beach Seaside Resorts is seeking a Grounds Maintenance team member for Grande Shores. The role involves keeping outdoor areas clean, safe, and organized using hand and power tools, with duties spanning sod, mowing, planting, watering, and regular landscaping tasks.

Preferred candidates may have prior grounds maintenance experience; ability to stand long periods; and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Competitive benefits and opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.

• Previous landscaping or grounds maintenance experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Empties trash chutes and parking areas as needed.
• Sweeps and power washes as needed.
• Mows, trims, lays sod, waters flowers, fertilizes and maintains landscaping.
• Operates trash compactor and maintains equipment inventory.
• Keeps workspaces clean and hazard free.
• Performs light maintenance tasks (changing bulbs, painting, moving furniture).
• Reports issues observed during daily tasks.
• Communicates professionally with guests and team members.

Job Description -

The groundsmaintenance personnel will keep public property areas clean, safe, andorganised, using equipment such as hand tools and power tools. Workerstypically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of thefollowing: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing,digging, raking, sprinkler installation, collecting trash, sweeping, and wipingdown outdoor items.

Job Responsibilities –

• Empties all trash chutes, trash cans and parkinglot as needed
• Sweeps and power washes as needed
• Mowing, weed eating, trimming, laying sod, plant& water flowers, fertilizer and other landscaping duties
• Operates the trash compactor
• Maintain and keep inventory on all equipment
• Keep work spaces clean and hazard free
• Perform other light maintenance work orders asassigned such as changing light bulbs, painting, assist in moving furniture,etc.
• Immediately report any building issues seenwhile preforming daily tasks
• Effective and professional communication withguests and other team members

Requirements -

• Valid Driver’s License
• Available to work a flexible schedule includingweekends and holidays
• Previous experience is preferred but notrequired
• Able to stand for long periods of time
