Loyola Marymount University seeks an Athletic Field Maintenance position to ensure safe and high-quality playing surfaces for various sports. Responsibilities include maintaining baseball and softball fields, applying fertilizers and pesticides, and preparing fields for athletic events.
Qualifications include two or four years of relevant education or experience, a valid California pesticide applicator’s license, and a strong attention to detail. The role offers a competitive salary and requires some weekend and overtime availability.
Maintain five athletic fields creating safe, high quality playing surfaces for baseball, softball, soccer, and two practice fields.
Constantly required to sit, use finger movement, speak clearly, hear conversation, and see near and far. Frequently required to stand and walk. Occasionally required to lift, carry, and push up to 50lbs., stoop, kneel, reach high and low, and use depth perception.
Saturday–Wednesday 6:30am–3:00pm.
Hiring salary $23.51 per hour; regular salary range $23.51 – $29.38 per hour, commensurate with education and experience.
