Loyola Marymount University is seeking a semi-skilled gardening and grounds maintenance professional to care for turf, shrubs, and flowers. This position involves various landscaping duties including weeding, mowing, and irrigation system maintenance.
The ideal applicant has at least 2 years of landscaping experience, a valid California driver’s license, and strong attention to detail. Shift is Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm, and the role requires physical labor including lifting up to 50lbs.
This semi-skilled gardening and grounds maintenance position involves caring for turf, shrubs, ground covers, flowers, and hard surfaces using hand tools and power equipment.
Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 3:00pm.
Employees are required to stand, walk, lift, carry, and push up to 50lbs., stoop, kneel, reach high and low, and use depth perception. Occasional climbing and work at heights may be required. Frequent use of hand and finger movements, clear speech, hearing, and near and far vision is essential.
