Job summary

Anderson Communities in Lexington, KY is seeking an Exterior Technician to maintain grounds and common areas across our community. This full-time, year-round role offers outdoor work, steady hours, and plenty of growth opportunities within a growing company.

You will perform power washing, debris cleanup, lighting checks, and help maintain pools and clubhouses, with a focus on customer service and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Valid driver's license and own transportation.
• Must be drug-free and maintain a clean appearance.
• Must be felony-free.
• Preferred: groundskeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Grounds maintenance and upkeep of the community.
• Power washing and debris cleanup for property, breezeways, and common areas.
• Check exterior lighting and pool areas.
• Notify maintenance technicians of any needed repairs.
• Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm.

Salary Range: $16.25 To $16.75 Hourly

Exterior Technician, Full-time

Duties include:

• Grounds maintenance and upkeep to maintain a clean environment and community
• Several tasks including:
• Clean up of trash and debris for property, breezeways and common areas
• Power Washing
• Brush removal
• Check exterior lighting
• Check pool and maintain a clean clubhouse
• Notify maintenance technicians of any needed repairs
• Other duties as necessary
• Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help
• Focus and attention to great customer service
• Good communication and time management skills
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation throughout work day required
• Must be drug free and maintain a clean appearance
• Must be felony free
• Preferred: previous Groundskeeping experience
