Job summary

Winterwood, Inc. is hiring for the role of Apartment Maintenance Technician in Lexington, KY. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with a starting wage of $20.00 per hour and a $500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience required.
• Apartment/property maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders promptly and efficiently.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including repairs, painting, cleaning.
• Perform general repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and building systems.
• Inspect and maintain assigned buildings and property systems.
• Complete preventative maintenance, including furnace filter replacements and unit inspections.
• Assist with coordinating outside contractors and vendors.
• Maintain appropriate inventory of maintenance supplies.
• Inspect property grounds and identify needed repairs.
• Provide emergency maintenance services as required.
• Complete daily property upkeep, including trash pickup.
• Document inspections and maintenance activities.
• Notify the Property Manager of unusual conditions, damages, or other concerns.
• Assist with special projects and other maintenance duties as assigned.

Apartment Maintenance Technician – $20.00/hr. + $500 Sign-On Bonus

Winterwood, Inc. is hiring for the role of Apartment Maintenance Technician. The Apartment Maintenance Technician is responsible for day-to-day maintenance operations and physical appearance of the property.

What We're Looking For

• Previous maintenance experience required; apartment/property maintenance experience preferred
• Working knowledge of general maintenance, including carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, and basic HVAC systems
• Basic computer skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders
• Ability to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as needed
• Willingness to complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
