Job summary

The Groundskeeper - 2026 at Denali Employee Community in the Maintenance department is a seasonal full-time role with Princess Cruises and Holland America Line. You will care for property grounds, landscapes, and foliage to maintain aesthetics and safety in line with company standards.

Responsibilities include routine landscaping, operating ground equipment, inspecting grounds for appearance, and assisting with basic maintenance tasks.

A Groundskeeper performs a variety of tasks to maintain property grounds and foliage to put our best foot forward in the minds of our guests and our employees. Routine maintenance of the site landscape and grounds is a contributing factor to the safety and satisfaction of both guests and employees. This job ensures the aesthetics and functionalities of property grounds are maintained to company standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Routinely maintains plants, foliage, flowers, and property grounds.
• Operates ground equipment as needed.
• Routinely inspects grounds to ensure property appearance is in accordance with company standards.
• Assists with a variety of entry-level maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Interacts with employees and guests including but not limited to answering questions and providing information about the local areas, hotel information, and general service interactions.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum age of 18 years to operate service vehicles and maintenance equipment.
• Valid Driver’s License (not revoked or suspended) with fewer than three moving violations.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs./23kg.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and will be a part of our random drug testing program.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).
