Job summary

Princess Cruises and Holland America Line is seeking a Cleaner (Anchorage) for the 2026 season. This role is Seasonal - Full Time in Maintenance, located in Anchorage. You will be responsible for cleaning domed rail cars and surrounding areas to support guest experience and efficient operations.

The position requires physical work, ability to lift 25 lbs, and compliance with safety and sanitation guidelines. Training and supervision are provided as part of the nightly closing procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Minimum age of 18 years required to reside in company housing, where available.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of entry-level cleaning and detailing tasks.
• Routinely, cleans outside of rail cars, collects and disposes garbage, and performs sewage disposal.
• Routinely cleans outside of rail cars using water hoses and scissor lifts.
• Perform black water removal from rail cars.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Performs a variety of cleaning and detailing tasks on company vehicles and buildings.
• Conduct end of night procedures including nightly cleaning and organizing checklist, proper storage of all tools and successful checkout with supervisor.

How our rail cars look, plays a huge part in the overall guest experience and success of our operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of our domed rail cars.
