Job summary

The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Groundskeeper 2 in Georgia’s State Government to responsibly maintain outdoor spaces on a day shift.

Under supervision, you will trim lawns, remove leaves, operate and service grounds equipment, and help keep properties safe and attractive for staff and visitors across facilities throughout the state.

Qualifications

• Six months of groundskeeping experience and a valid driver's license.
• Or one year of experience at Groundskeeper 1 or an equivalent position.

Responsibilities

• Maintains grounds in an attractive and orderly condition by trimming lawns, removing leaves and debris and related duties.
• Operates and maintains grounds equipment as necessary.

Job Description:

• Under general supervision, maintains grounds in an attractive and orderly condition by trimming lawns, removing leaves and debris and other related duties.
• Operates and maintains grounds equipment as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications: Six (6) months of experience and valid driver's license; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Groundskeeper 1 (FES030) or position equivalent.
