Job summary

State of Georgia is seeking a Housekeeper 2 at East Central Regional Hospital in Augusta. Under general supervision, you will perform duties to maintain order, sanitation and cleanliness in facilities.

Primary responsibilities include cleaning assigned areas, handling linens, observing safety procedures, and ensuring equipment and supplies are kept in good condition. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred; physical ability to lift 10–20 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in related area of assignment; or one year of experience at Housekeeper 1 (FES040) or equivalent.

Job Description:

Under general supervision, performs any combination of duties to maintain order, sanitation and cleanliness in facilities.

Preferred Qualifications Include:

• One (1) year of experience in related area of assignment; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Housekeeper 1 (FES040) or position equivalent.
