A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GROUNDSKEEPER

As a property Groundskeeper you assist in inspecting and maintaining the property, buildings, and equipment in an attractive, safe, and quality condition. You assist in ensuring that the grounds, buildings, and units are fully functional, safe, and attractive. You clean and remove all trash, obstacles and debris from grounds, parking lots, roads, amenity areas, plant bed, breezeways, stairwells, and dumpster areas. Maintenance responsibilities include groundskeeping, painting, exterior repairs, landscape, and irrigation tasks. You clean pool and maintain pool equipment on regular schedule established by the maintenance supervisor. Safety is your priority. As such you report safety hazards the maintenance supervisor and assist in correcting them on a timely basis. You take pride in the great condition and attractive appearance of the grounds, buildings, and units.

Groundskeeper Qualifications

• Ability to be available to work as scheduled and as necessary
• Drug-free
• Ability to operate electrical and gas motorized equipment, including pool and spa pumps and equipment, edger, blower, power washer and compactor

WORK SCHEDULE
