Victory Junction, Inc. is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain facilities, grounds, and equipment at our year-round camp. Duties include lawn care, landscaping, pest control, fertilization, snow removal, and minor repairs.

The role requires 18+ and 2+ years in maintenance or related fields, with familiarity in OSHA safety standards and preventative maintenance. This on-site position supports our adaptive programming for children with complex medical conditions.

Competenze

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in construction, maintenance, OSHA safety standards, and grounds keeping.
• Proven preventative maintenance techniques.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and competency.

Description

Victory Junction is a year-round camp facility that provides fully accessible on-site and off-site programming for children with complex medical conditions at no cost to their families. Victory Junction's adaptive, intentional programming includes summer camp, family weekends, day programs, equine therapy, pediatric patient outreach, and partner programs. By removing all barriers, Victory Junction welcomes children with serious illnesses and chronic medical conditions to experience camp fun, all in a medically-safe environment. Victory Junction is a member of SeriousFun Children's Network and is accredited by the American Camp Association.

The Groundskeeper provides upkeep and maintenance of buildings, vehicles, grounds and equipment.

• Apply pesticide to rid grounds of pests such as mosquitoes, wasp, ticks, and others

• Below walkway of debris. Cut down tree limbs that are posing a danger or safety hazard
• Trim shrubs and pull weeds
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in groundskeeping

Requirements
