The Waters at Promenade in Marrero, LA, is hiring a full-time Groundskeeper for Stoa Group. You’ll maintain the community’s curb appeal, perform light cleaning and repairs, walk the property daily, and support residents with a friendly, service-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Daily property walks to maintain curb appeal.
• Work independently to pick up trash on property and common areas.
• Assist with light cleaning and repairs prior to new resident move-ins.
• Update the Service Manager with work status and liabilities.
• Ensure adequate inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Notify supervisor when supplies are needed.
• Ensure policies, safety and compliance are met.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Daily property walks to maintain a well-kept and manicured curb appeal
• Work independently as you pick up trash on the property and in common areas, including driveways, parking lots, curbs, trash receptacle areas, exterior hallways, breezeways, mailrooms, and other public areas.
• Assist with light cleaning and repairs prior to new resident move-ins and model units.
• Update the Service Manager with work status and communicate any potential liabilities.
• Ensure adequate inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. Notifies supervisor when supplies are needed. Assists office staff, as needed, with posting notices on resident doors.
• Ensure that policies and procedures, as well as safety and compliance expectations, are met.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays.

• Excellent attention to detail
• Previous grounds, general cleaning, janitorial and labor experience preferred
• Attention to detail and commitment to our customers. Our residents will take notice and appreciate your detail on a daily basis.

• Strong adherence to ethical standards, including but not limited to the ability to maintain confidentially.

Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm.
