Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED equivalent.
• Experience: Understanding and knowledge of yardwork and general facility maintenance; 1 year of maintenance, repair, or HVAC experience preferred but not required.
• Licenses: Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of exterior areas and pick up debris or trash across the property.
• Keep sidewalks, breezeways, parking lots, green spaces, and community signage clean and presentable.
• Maintain trash receptacles, compactor areas, and pet stations; ensure debris or large items are removed.
• Assist with light landscaping tasks: raking, weeding, trimming, and watering as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness of pool decks, courtyards, grilling stations, benches, and outdoor amenities.

Groundskeeper| Education, Experience, and License Qualifications

Groundskeeper | Job Functions

• Conduct thorough cleaning and pick-up of debris or trash throughout exterior areas of the property.
• Maintain cleanliness of sidewalks, breezeways, parking lots, green spaces, and community signage areas.
• Ensure community trash receptacles,compactorareas, and pet stations are well-maintained and free of debris orlarge itemsaround the perimeter.
• Assistwith light landscaping tasks including raking, weeding, trimming, and watering as directed by the maintenance team.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of pool deck areas, courtyards, grilling stations, benches, and outdoor amenities.

Community Appearance Support

• Assistthe maintenance team with light painting of curbs, signposts, and exterior touch-ups as needed.
• Conduct light checks around the property and replace breezeway or exterior bulbs as needed.
• Helpmaintainshop and storage areas in a clean and organized manner to support quick inventory assessment.
• Assistwith preparation of vacant, unoccupied apartments with light cleaning or removal of debris as requested

Additional Responsibilities

• Assistthe team with the distribution of communications to residents’ doors.
• Assistthe maintenance team with seasonal tasks including storm/snowpreparation or cleanup.
• Promotegood professionalrelations with residents, co-workers, and company staff. Through the LIVE IT culture,alwaysdisplay a friendly and courteous attitude toward prospects, residents, vendors, and other employees. Alwaysmaintainprofessionalism.

Work Schedule & Availability

Groundskeeperswork Monday through Friday, with standard office hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This role may also require participation in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies and occasional support for resident events, as needed.
