Job description

This position is responsible for all landscaping, grounds maintenance, and snow removal activities at company facilities. It also participates in daily maintenance department activities to support ongoing business operations.

Position Location:

This position requires daily in-office presence. Hours: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

What you do:

1. Manage groundskeeping activities based on the season, including applying fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides, mowing lawns, removing debris, trimming hedges, bushes, shrubs, flower beds, and performing snow/ice removal.
2. Conduct and implement preventative maintenance programs, including maintaining and repairing grounds-related equipment, performing routine maintenance such as oil and filter changes, lubrication, repairs, and seasonal preparations.
3. Adjust and maintain the lawn sprinkler system, including managing groundwater wells for irrigation.
4. Maintain a chemical applicator's license as required by law.
5. Ensure compliance with city, state, and federal regulations regarding chemical applications and disposal.
6. Oversee, direct, and collaborate with outside vendors, negotiating pricing for grounds-related activities.
7. Order and maintain necessary materials to complete duties.
8. Participate as a member of the emergency response team for emergency and security issues.

What you bring:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 0-2 years related experience
• Chemical applicator's license preferred (must be obtained upon hire)
• Ability to frequently lift and carry 40 pounds
