Job summary

Cottonwood Residential is seeking a Groundskeeper for our Steepleway Downs Apartments in Northwest Houston. The role involves maintaining the property grounds by removing litter, cleaning pathways, and performing basic gardening tasks.

Ideal candidates will be able to communicate effectively in English and handle physical demands, including lifting and on-call work. Join us to enhance customer experience and help welcome residents to their homes!

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Availability for on-call duties during nights and weekends.
• Physical ability to handle heavy lifting and prolonged standing.

• Removing trash and litter from property.

• Basic gardening and weeding tasks.
• Cleaning windows and common furniture.
• Performing general maintenance tasks.

Qualifications & Required Experience of a Groundskeeper

• Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with customers, process Company paperwork, and interpret safety and operating manuals and procedures.
• Available to work on-call during nights/weekends and Company events.
• Must be able to move, carry, reposition, or lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds, and navigate elevation changes while maintaining balance.
• Frequent need to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, push/pull, and navigate difficult terrain and access small areas.

Job Summary of a Groundskeeper
