Part of a nationwide family of Continuing Care Retirement Communities, Covenant Living is seeking a Groundskeeper. This position provides landscape and maintenance services needed to keep grounds and buildings on campus attractive and well-kept.

In this role, the Groundskeeper will:

1. Mow and/or renovate lawns.
2. Transport grass clippings and other garden materials to the appropriate area.
3. Edge sidewalks and driveways.
4. Weedeat where necessary.
5. Weed and cultivate flower beds.
6. Thin and prune trees, shrubs, vines, flowers, etc.
7. Operate timers for sprinkler systems.
8. Repair or install new sprinkler systems.
9. Make periodic rounds to pick up trash and debris.
10. Assist with planting, fertilizing, spraying, and maintenance of lawns and flower beds.
11. Water and maintain all lawn areas and flower beds.

The successful candidate will have:

1. High School diploma or equivalent, required.
2. Classes in horticulture, including small plant identification, horticulture machinery, and landscape design, required.
3. Three years of gardening-related experience, required.
4. Valid driver’s license in the state and a good driving record.

Compensation Pay Range:

$15.82 - $21.83

Reasonable Pay Estimate

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $15.82 - $21.83. The actual offered rate will consider factors such as qualifications, experience, skills, education, location, and internal/external equity.
