Base pay range

$13.50/hr - $15.00/hr

Purpose and Responsibilities

This position was created to:

1. Provide consistent and regular cleaning of the grounds outside the building, maintaining the grounds around the building and keeping it free of debris and garbage.
2. Maintain water buckets, empty garbage, and keep the pumps clean on the gas and diesel islands. Keep water buckets filled with proper solutions, replace squeegees and paper towels as needed, and report leaks or minor repairs to maintenance.
3. Wash the gas and diesel islands with the Hotsy when weather permits, and clean the area in front of the building and around dumpsters as necessary. Apply floor dry during fuel spills.
4. Keep the well house, generator shed, and storage shed clean and free of debris. Check water meters, water, and air functionality, and report issues.
5. Provide snow removal and ice melt application during winter to ensure safety.
6. Check the backup generator weekly for proper operation, fuel, and oil levels.
7. Check and refill Crind paper in gas island printers daily.
8. Maintain the Grounds Keeper pickup truck, ensuring it is fueled and report mechanical issues.

Qualifications

• Extensive walking and stair climbing required.
• Stand and exert mobility for up to four hours.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and carry for 10-20 feet.
• Stoop and bend regularly.
• Work with water and cleaning chemicals.
