Job summary

29th Street Property Management is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the grounds, amenities and exteriors of our multi-family communities in the Denver area.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work with residents and staff, and a valid driver’s license. English/Spanish bilingual skills are strongly preferred to assist a diverse resident base.

Qualifications

• No degree required or minimal education.
• At least 1 year of groundskeeping experience preferred.
• English/Spanish bilingual strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, amenities, exteriors, leasing office and common areas.
• Remove trash daily from office areas and perimeter.
• Prepare market-ready units by cleaning vacant apartments and common spaces.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager with tasks.
• Support snow removal when needed and basic repairs.
• Ensure safety rules are followed and report unsafe conditions.

Summary Of Position

The Groundskeeper is responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings of multi-family residential apartments.

Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings.
• Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter on a daily basis.
• Assist in the preparation of market ready units, including trash removal from vacant apartments prior to make-ready.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager with assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
• Assist in the cleaning of vacant apartments and/or models.
• Assist Maintenance team with snow removal (if applicable).
• Assist in the troubleshoot/repair of mechanical, carpentry and electrical problems.
• Report any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Meticulously maintains curb appeal.
• Assist management team with other various tasks required.
• Ensures that unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner.
• Learns and ensures compliance with all company, local, state and federal safety rules.
• Report all unsafe conditions immediately.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

• Must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of groundskeeping tools.
• Must have demonstrated ability to solve problems in a variety of practical situations and follow standardized procedures.

Education And Experience

• Educational degree not required.
• At least one year of Groundskeeping experience preferred.
• English/Spanish bilingual strongly preferred.

Licenses or Certifications

• Ability to provide and maintain a valid driver’s license as the position may require the operation of motorized and electric vehicles.
