Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts in Keller, TX is seeking a Groundsperson to support electric utility vegetation management projects. You will work from the ground, coordinate staging areas, and assist with loading, unloading, and feeding brush into a woodchipper while following safety rules.

The full-time role requires a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred), the ability to work long hours or overtime during emergencies, and the flexibility to pass background checks and drug screens.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license required. CDL preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Operate from ground level and define staging areas.
• Load/unload trucks with logs, brush, and debris; feed brush into woodchipper.
• Perform basic maintenance on trucks and equipment and report major repairs.
• Follow safety rules and safeguard employees and the public.
• Tying knots, rope breaks, and speed lines as per industry standards.
