Job summary

Reeds Spring School District is seeking a Grounds and Landscaping Technician to maintain safe, attractive campuses, fields, and landscaped areas. You will operate mowing and landscaping equipment, apply fertilizers and pesticides per safety guidelines, and coordinate work to minimize disruption to learning schedules.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required; Category 3A pesticide license preferred (or ability to obtain).
• Experience in commercial mowing, turf management, landscaping, and sports field prep preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; read and follow chemical directions; operate lawn equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Mow and trim around structures and sidewalks weekly; edge all areas.
• Clear sidewalks and driveways of debris after mowing.
• Inspect areas before mowing and remove trash and debris.
