Job summary

HES is seeking a Groundskeeper to support grounds maintenance for educational facilities. You will perform mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and general landscape care on client properties, using a range of lawn equipment and hand tools.

This role requires physical effort, outdoor work in various weather conditions, and the ability to operate multiple lawn care machines. Experience in lawn care is helpful; a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Some lawn care experience is helpful.
• Must be able to operate lawn care machinery (mowers, edgers, backpack blowers).

Responsibilities

• Prepare trucks for the day and secure equipment.
• Perform groundskeeping on properties and mow turf with various mowers.
• Line trim and edge; sweep leaves and debris.
• Prune shrubs/trees and remove weeds as needed.
• Maintain and repair tools and equipment; wash gear.
• Snow removal duties may include night/weekend shifts.
