HES Facilities Management is seeking a Groundskeeper to join our grounds crew. You will perform lawn care tasks, operate mowers, edgers, and blowers, and maintain equipment. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work varied hours, including potential nights, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and basic experience in lawn care. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to ensure quality landscaping services for educational facilities.

Qualifications

• Groundskeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate various lawn care machinery including mowers and edgers.
• Good communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare trucks for the day and load equipment.
• Mow turf, trim, prune shrubs, and perform lawn maintenance tasks.
• Operate equipment safely and maintain tools and vehicles.
• Snow removal may be required on nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Provide proper upkeep of grounds features and perform general maintenance.
