Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs on City infrastructure across parks, utilities, streets and facilities.
• Document results of maintenance and alert supervisor to repairs.
• Perform general cleaning on equipment and facilities.
• Maintain and repair machinery including fueling, lubrication and cleaning.
• Remove snow from streets, sidewalks and parking lots; apply salt/sand.
• Prepare areas for painting and complete painting projects.
• Install sewer lines and construct manholes.
• Repair sidewalks/curbs and perform concrete work.
• Prepare streets for asphalt patching and related tasks.
• Remove dead or diseased trees and trim vegetation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Repair and maintain underground sprinkler systems.
• Repair and maintain sewage lift stations.
• Lawn and flower bed maintenance.
• Operate mowing and other yard equipment; use heavy equipment when needed.
