Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Groundskeeper and pool attendant in Fort Lauderdale, FL. You will oversee the pool area, announce safety messages, and maintain poolside equipment while ensuring the building exterior remains clean and well-kept.

Responsibilities include lawn maintenance, debris removal, and assisting with setup for poolside events. Prior experience with outdoor tools and adherence to safety guidelines is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Experience using handheld tools such as weed cutter, push lawn mower, hedge trimmer, edger, leaf vacuum, blower, and others.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Must comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines concerning storage and use of chemical substances.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains lawn, trims around trees, walkways and markers.
• Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways in safe condition.
• Assists with loading/unloading of supplies and equipment.
• Maintains, services, cleans and properly stores equipment.
• Oversees pool area and makes safety announcements.
• Assists with set up and breakdown for poolside activities as needed.
• Submits and reports incidents to the appropriate manager.
• Picks up debris from the pool and maintains poolside cleanliness.
• Reports broken sports equipment to the manager for replacement.
