Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of general maintenance experience or equivalent
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely
• Knowledge of basic safety regulations and PPE

Responsibilities

• Mow, edge, and trim lawns using power and hand tools
• Plant, water, fertilize, prune, and maintain trees, landscaping, shrubs, and flowers
• Inspect assigned areas; report safety hazards; clean and maintain grounds
• Perform snow removal and salting of parking lots
• Assist with building maintenance projects including minor construction, plumbing, electrical
• Clean and pressure wash buildings, facilities, and walkways
• Observe safe work methods and wear PPE while performing duties
• Report questions and complaints from the public and work non-disruptively in high-traffic areas
• Maintain basic records of work performed
• Contribute to team efficiency and service quality
• Represent the County with integrity in all relations
