Columbia County seeks a grounds maintenance worker to care for lawns and landscapes on county properties, including ball fields and parks. You will perform routine grounds keeping, operate a range of equipment, and assist with basic repairs and record-keeping.

Responsibilities include maintaining grounds, following instructions, and working with a team to meet schedules. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; CDL and advanced skills are a plus.

Qualificações

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Experience in grounds keeping preferred but not required.
• Must be able to follow plans and assignments.
• Ability to operate and maintain lawn equipment and basic tools.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain the lawns and grounds of various County sites.
• Perform routine grounds keeping tasks and light maintenance duties.
• Operate equipment such as lawnmower, edger and blower; perform minor repairs as needed.
• Keep records and prepare reports relating to work performed and equipment usage.
