The City of Catoosa is seeking a Street and Parks Worker I to perform unskilled and semiskilled tasks in maintenance of public works facilities, parks, and cemetery grounds. You will assist in water distribution, wastewater, roads, and signage maintenance under supervision.

Responsibilities include mowing, equipment operation, and site preparation. Requires physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions. Full-time with Benefits and a 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. schedule.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of basic manual labor practices.
• Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods in varying weather.
• Able to learn and perform tasks responsibly.
• Able to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and public.
• Knowledge of customer service practices.

Aufgaben

• Mowing, weed eating, edging, and landscaping city properties.
• Maintains and repairs streets and sidewalks with crew.
• Operates a variety of heavy automotive equipment.
• Operates various types of power equipment and hand tools.
• Loads and delivers equipment and work materials.
• Fills holes with dirt, gravel, concrete, or asphalt.
