Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Grounds Technician to support on-site operations at the Lansing community. You will maintain grounds, assist with irrigation, and ensure a clean, welcoming environment for residents.

Responsibilities include lawn care, snow/ice removal, and reporting any issues to management. Candidates should be able to lift 20 lbs, work outdoors in varying temperatures, and have a valid driver’s license. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and push/pull up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in temperatures above 90°F or below 32°F.
• Experience in irrigation is a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Basic computer skills to use software or apps.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general upkeep and cleanliness of the apartment community.
• Care for parking lots, grounds, corridors, stairwells, laundry rooms, and mechanical rooms.
• Collect and remove trash as needed.
• Weed beds and edge landscape areas for neatness.
• Monitor irrigation systems and repair sprinkler heads/lines as required.
• Report unhealthy lawns, trees, or shrubs to management.
• Communicate with residents and coworkers professionally.
• Follow dress code and safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
