Job summary

Augusta University is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to oversee exterior maintenance and pressure washing across multiple campuses. The role requires hands-on supervision, training, and coordination with faculty to keep outdoor spaces safe, clean, and accessible.

You will schedule tasks, monitor equipment, ensure safety protocols, and maintain equipment. Experience with campus operations and pressure washing is preferred; strong teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with three years of grounds maintenance or related experience.
• Current driver's license required to operate AU golf carts and vehicles; must meet USG requirements to operate AU vehicles.
• Two or more years of pressure washing experience on a campus or large facility preferred; familiarity with PWNA or UA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pressure washing operations and supervise exterior maintenance for multiple Augusta University campuses.
• Provide hands-on maintenance, training, and supervision for grounds and pressure washing tasks.
• Schedule team responsibilities, coordinate with other teams, and plan equipment needs.
• Maintain labor time records using ServiceNow or similar systems; track events and hours.
• Coordinate with faculty to ensure student safety, noise control, and accessibility.
• Monitor and arrange maintenance for equipment; liaise with mechanics for repairs.
• Ensure safety protocols, PPE use, and water/damage prevention during operations.
• Support campus events with pressure washing, weed/pest control, irrigation, and masonry tasks.
• Follow all university policies and uphold respectful conduct toward all staff and students.
