Job summary

Augusta University is seeking an Athletic Field Supervisor to lead the Christenberry Fields maintenance team and oversee grounds, irrigation, and chemical applications for multiple athletic facilities on the Forest Hills campus and related areas.

You will supervise staff, ensure safe operations, coordinate schedules, and partner with athletic departments to maintain optimal field conditions and turf quality.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Turfgrass Management or related field.
• Georgia Commercial Pesticide Applicator Certification or ability to pass within 90 days.
• Ten years of directly applicable experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software.

Responsibilities

• Lead grounds maintenance staff alongside CFH Manager and schedule daily tasks.
• Oversee maintenance of athletic fields and landscapes across campuses.
• Coordinate irrigation, chemical applications, and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure safety and high-quality standards across all grounds operations.
