Job summary

The Fremont Economic Development Corp. is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for the repair and upkeep of county parks, grounds and buildings using a range of equipment.

The role covers repairs such as fencing and structures, and ongoing maintenance including preventative and daily tasks. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED or 1–3 years of related experience, and the ability to work non-standard hours for events; a background check, physical exam, and drug screen are

This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of all County owned parks, grounds and buildings through use of equipment and tools of a varying nature. Repair may include fencing, buildings and grounds. Maintenance may include preventative, periodic and daily associated tasks.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) years of general related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Requirements:

Must pass a limited background check, physical examination and drug screen. Must have ability to work non-standard hours due to event operations.
