Job summary

Fremont Economic Development Corp. seeks a Maintenance Staff member to keep our facilities safe, reliable, and inviting. You will apply mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills to maintain HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and building interiors.

Expect 40 hours per week in Colorado; we value proactive maintenance, safety, and teamwork. You will document activities, follow safety protocols, and contribute to a positive experience for staff and visitors as part of a dynamic facilities team.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance with knowledge of electrical work, plumbing, HVAC systems, and building interior maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems including HVAC, electrical equipment, plumbing, and facilities infrastructure.
• Conduct repairs using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues or mechanical failures.
• Maintain building interior by painting, carpentry repairs, and general upkeep to ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Repair and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and drainage to prevent leaks or blockages.
• Operate PLCs for automated systems management and troubleshooting.
• Use welding techniques for metal repairs or fabrication tasks as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and document maintenance activities for compliance and record-keeping.
