Job summary

RHP Properties, Inc. in Colorado Springs, CO is hiring a Maintenance Technician for Saddleback Creek, Saddleback Village and Saddleback RV communities.

You will perform general grounds and lawn maintenance and basic repairs to homes owned by the community, 40 hours per week. The role requires at least 2 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED preferred, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to provide your own tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid operator’s license and good driving record.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, HVAC and carpentry.
• May need to provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance to ensure homes and community areas are in proper condition.
• Execute assigned work orders and report status to the Community Manager timely and efficiently.
• Promote courtesy and attentiveness in interactions with residents, visitors and staff.
• Identify deficiencies and take action with Community Manager approval.
• Maintain community grounds: weed control, leaves, planting, mulching, trimming and general lawn care.
• Remove garbage on grounds and around resident sites as needed.
• Perform snow removal using equipment as applicable.
• Notify Community Manager of improper waste disposal or bulk item pickups.
• Inventory maintenance and grounds equipment and supplies; advise on needs.
• Keep garages/storage areas orderly and clean.
• Maintain all maintenance and grounds equipment.
• Comply with safety laws to protect residents and staff.
• Seasonal pre-maintenance service; on-call duties as needed.
• Assist refurbishing Community Owned homes and repair water/sewer lines.
