Job summary

RHP Properties, Inc. in Sandy, UT, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Crescentwood Village community to perform general grounds and lawn maintenance as well as basic repairs to homes owned by the community, for 40 hours per week.

As a Maintenance Technician you will complete work orders, keep grounds and garages tidy, manage equipment inventories, assist with refurbishing community-owned homes, and comply with safety rules.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, HVAC and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance to ensure homes and community areas are in proper condition.
• Execute assigned work orders and report status to the Community Manager timely and efficiently.
• Promote goodwill by handling all contacts with residents, prospective residents, visitors and other employees.
• Identify deficiencies and take action with Community Manager approval.
• Maintain community grounds including weed control, landscaping, and seasonal cleanup.
• Remove garbage on grounds and residents' sites as needed to keep areas neat.
• Perform snow removal as applicable.
• Maintain inventories of equipment and supplies and inform manager of needs.
• Assist in refurbishing community-owned homes and maintain water/sewer lines as required.
• Remain available for on-call duties and ensure safety compliance.
