Montgomery College has an immediate need for a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor on the Germantown campus. This first shift supervisor role runs 6:00am–2:30pm, Monday through Friday, and is a non-bargaining, Exempt, grade 25 position.
The incumbent will lead a grounds crew, inspect equipment, manage timesheets, and coordinate with campus activities. Essential duties include safety, budgeting, and staff development to maintain a clean, safe campus environment.

This position has been designated as 'essential personnel.' Essential personnel are defined as those required to ensure that campus buildings and grounds remain operational and secure, as well as those responsible for monitoring and communicating the College’s operational status. In the event that College operations are suspended, employees in essential roles may be required to report to work at their normal scheduled time or to report to an alternative work location as directed
Hiring Range: $61,384 - $79,776 hourly. Initial salary placement for new hires falls between the minimum and midpoint of the range and is based on relevant candidate experience and internal equity. The maximum salary for this position is $98,168.
For degrees earned outside of the U.S., a copy of your education equivalency, conducted by a nationally recognized evaluation service, must be included in your application.

Participation in a Maryland State Retirement System plan (Pension or Optional Retirement Plan, depending on the position).
