Amentum is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Laborer to join the Facility Services team in Fort Gordon, GA. The role focuses on hands-on landscape care across a 160-acre footprint, including mowing, trimming, debris removal, pruning, and seasonal winterization.

Responsibilities involve operating commercial lawn equipment, performing detailed trimming, and maintaining hardscape areas. Applicants should have 1–2 years in landscaping and a valid driver’s license; physical labor is required daily.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in commercial landscaping or groundskeeping
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform outdoor labor daily

Responsibilities

• Mow and edge lawns with commercial mowers; adjust equipment per turf types.
• Trim edges and prune around parking areas and entrances.
• Sweep debris from lots and sidewalks; haul debris as needed.
• Plant and mulch shrubs and flowers; prune vegetation for shape.
• Seasonal tasks: leaf removal, winterization, and basic maintenance on fleet.
