Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in maintenance or groundskeeping. The role involves physical work outdoors, teamwork, and attentive safety practices in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintenance and groundskeeping experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
• Read and complete work orders accurately.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurability requirements.
• Good communication, safety awareness, and team-oriented mindset.
• Able to perform physical work up to 30+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds to keep the property attractive, safe, and well-kept (mowing, trimming, watering, weeding, seasonal upkeep).
• Perform light maintenance and basic repairs in apartments and common areas (plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, fixture changes).
• Assist with apartment make-readies by cleaning and painting units for new residents.
• Conduct daily property walks to keep grounds clean and safe.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and grounds.
