Job summary

Gorman & Company, LLC in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Grounds & Light Maintenance Technician to help keep the property attractive and safe throughout the year. You will perform groundskeeping, light maintenance in apartments and common areas, and assist with make-readies for new residents.

This hands-on role requires a high school diploma, basic plumbing/electrical/carpentry skills, and the ability to lift 30+ pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in groundskeeping or basic maintenance preferred.
• Able to read and complete work orders accurately.
• Good communication and safety awareness; team player.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds to keep properties attractive, safe, and well-kept (mowing, trimming, watering, weeding, seasonal upkeep).
• Perform light maintenance and basic repairs in apartments and common areas (plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, lock changes).
• Assist with apartment make-readies by cleaning, painting, and preparing units for new residents.
• Conduct daily property walks and routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and grounds.
• Support inventory control of tools and supplies and assist outside vendors as needed.
• Interact professionally with residents, team members, and vendors with excellent customer service.
