Job summary

Gorman & Company, LLC is seeking a Grounds & Light Maintenance Technician to support Jesse Powell Towers in Little Rock, AR. You’ll maintain outdoor spaces, perform light repairs, and help prepare units for new residents.

The role requires a high school diploma, reliability, ability to lift 30+ pounds, and the capacity to work Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM–6:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM. Join a mission-driven property management team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintenance & groundskeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to read and complete work orders.
• Strong communication, safety awareness and teamwork.
• Able to lift 30+ pounds and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds to keep properties attractive, safe and well-kept.
• Perform light maintenance and repairs (basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, lock changes, fixtures).
• Assist with apartment make-readies by cleaning, painting and prepping units.
• Conduct daily property walks and preventative maintenance checks.
• Maintain indoor areas by sweeping and mopping; manage inventory and assist vendors.
• Interact professionally with residents, team members and vendors.
