Ultipro is seeking a Grounds Lead in Chesapeake, VA to supervise a grounds crew and maintain schedules for industrial properties and athletic fields. The role includes repairing roads, walks, and mechanical equipment, with responsibilities for pruning, mowing, and operating power tools.

The position requires a high school diploma, at least five years in a related field, and the ability to work outdoors all shift.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of five (5) years work experience, in a related field.
• Able to perform tasks without supervision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to read, write, understand basic English.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to pass government background.
• Applicant will work outside during their entire shift.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and move a minimum of 50 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Prunes shrubs and trees using appropriate techniques according to the plant.
• Edges, mows, uses leaf blowers and other tools to remove trash and debris from grounds.
• Operates power equipment: edger, hedge trimmers, chain saws, tractor/loaders as needed.
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, and axes; performs minor repairs to equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
