Job summary

Wayne Farms is seeking a Grounds/Yard Maintenance worker to cultivate and care for the exterior areas surrounding the facility. The role requires performing landscaping tasks, basic exterior upkeep, and supporting the maintenance team while adhering to NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and all laws and regulations.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred, not required) and may need to work nights, weekends, and extended hours.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Experience in landscaping is a plus.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Sound work ethic and reliability; follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds/yard surrounding the facility under minimal supervision.
• Perform mowing, planting, weeding, fertilizing, pruning to keep plants healthy.
• Handle minor exterior maintenance like sweeping, painting, and lightbulb replacement.
• Assist others with grounds and facility maintenance as needed.
• Comply with company policies and safety guidelines at all times.
