Job summary

Wayne Farms in Mocksville, NC is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the grounds and yard around the facility. Under minimal supervision, you will perform landscaping tasks to keep plantings healthy and the exterior presentable.

Responsibilities include mowing, planting, weeding, fertilizing, pruning, and light exterior repairs; you will also assist with other facilities maintenance as needed and follow safety policies. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous landscaping experience is a plus.
• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
• Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.

Responsibilities

• Under minimal supervision, ensure grounds/yard surrounding facility are well maintained.
• Perform landscaping duties such as mowing, planting, weeding, fertilizing, pruning, etc., to keep plants healthy.
• Perform minor exterior maintenance such as sweeping/clearing sidewalks, painting, lightbulb replacement, and other minor repairs.
• Assist others when requested in the repair and maintenance of grounds and facility.
• Work in compliance with all company policies and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
