Putnam County Hospital is seeking a Groundskeeper to ensure attractive and safe outdoor areas. You will maintain turf, plantings, and hardscape, following schedules for mowing, pruning, and fertilizing, while training new staff and keeping equipment in good condition.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, 1–2 years of grounds experience, and a valid driver’s license. Familiarity with TrackIt and Workhub is a plus, with a 25% travel expectation as applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of related groundskeeping experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsabilités

• Maintain uniform landscaping and grounds appearance, both hardscape and lawn.
• Follow schedules for mowing, trimming, fertilizing, and planting.
• Orient new staff to groundskeeping and equipment.
• Maintain outdoor equipment and report service needs to the director.
• Use hand and power tools safely and escalate issues per chain of command.
